Personnel records gain skills this week, and the people list can filter to the skill you need.

Hold Skills on the Person

Fire marshals, first aiders, and DPO cover often lived in a spreadsheet or a note on the role. The person record held training and credentials, but not the named skill your team uses day to day.

You can add skills to a personnel record under People. Each skill sits on the person alongside their other detail, so Fire Marshal, asbestos awareness, or any competence your site tracks has a home on the record you already open for incidents, training, and compliance checks. The same skills can align with competency checks elsewhere in CalmCompliance, including work schedules that reference competence.

Find Everyone Who Holds a Skill

Once skills sit on people, the next question is who has them. Until now you opened records one by one or exported a list and searched elsewhere.

The people list under People now includes filters for skills and related fields. Choose a skill such as Fire Marshal and the table shows everyone who holds it on the current site. Bookmark the filtered view if you return to the same check often.

Site leads and compliance managers often need a named list before a drill, an audit, or a shift handover. Skills on the record and a filter on the list mean you answer from CalmCompliance instead of reconstructing the answer from memory or email.
