Scope and applicability
Use this record where attendance records show that a pupil has missed 10% or more of school, or is absent for 50% or more of school. Consider the pupil’s circumstances sensitively and make support proportionate to the level of absence and need. Complete the severe-absence-specific fields only where the pupil is absent for 50% or more of school.
