Use this record only where the pupil attends education provision arranged by a local authority under section 19(1) of the Education Act 1996, section 42(2), or section 61(1) of the Children and Families Act 2014. If the provision was arranged by the school rather than the local authority, do not use Code K; use the applicable alternative code instead.
