Scope
This plan applies where alternative heating or heat-generation equipment is present at the school, including biomass boilers, ground-source equipment, air-source equipment and heat-recovery equipment.
Annual maintenance planning
Alternative heating equipment must be incorporated into the school's annual maintenance plan where it is present.
Inspection and maintenance
Inspection and maintenance must follow the recommendations of the relevant equipment manufacturer.
Records
Keep records of the applicable manufacturer inspection requirements, inspections, servicing, defects and repairs for the alternative heating equipment.
